JOIN OUR FIGHT FOR THE HEALTH, EDUCATION, AND FINANCIAL STABILITY OF EVERY PERSON IN OUR COMMUNITIES!

For decades, United Way has been THE way we come together to give back in Logan and Champaign Counties.  YOU are a part of long giving tradition that WORKS!  We hope you view us as a community partner in your work to educate our next generation.  While you are working with students in the classroom during the school day, our programs are taking care of kids' needs so they can come to school ready to learn.  For example, because of United Way funding:
  • More than 1,800 preschoolers are enrolled in the DOLLY PARTON IMAGINATION LIBRARY, receiving a free book every month to increase vocabulary, build kindergarten readiness, and have quality reading time.
  • TCN BEHAVIORIAL HEALTH screens every 6th and 9th grade student for mental health and substance abuse so those who score high can get help.
  • WEST LIBERTY-SALEM’S Jess Haney and Molly Smith were awarded Youth Allocations grants by STUDENT UNITED WAY for the ROX (Ruling Our Experiences) program and a Pre-Apprenticeship program.
  • Our STUFF THE BUS school supply drive collects and distributes thousands of materials directly to all county schools.
  • We awarded a one-time COMMUNITY IMPACT FUND grant last month to the YMCA OF CENTRAL OHIO to start-up a new child care center in Bellefontaine this fall.
  • So many children are supported through rent and food assistance programs that are helping their entire families, such as CARING KITCHEN and SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK.
