Logan County's signature volunteer event—COMMUNITY CARE DAY—is back for an 11th year in 2026! Join United Way on Friday, August 21st, as hundreds of volunteers from area workplaces, churches, and civic organizations work on meaningful group projects and make a difference in our community.

When local businesses partner with United Way of Logan County, we mobilize the caring power of our community together. Your sponsorship directly supports the coordination of Logan County’s largest single day of community service, ensuring our local non-profits, parks, and schools get the vital help they need.
We invite your organization to invest in our community through two meaningful sponsorship pathways:

Do you have an agency, public park, or community space that needs painting, landscaping, deep cleaning, or light repairs? Let our volunteer teams do the heavy lifting for you.
Project Guidelines:
Must take place in Logan County (or at a United Way Funded Agency).
Must benefit a non-profit, community-based organization, area park, or local government entity.
Should be able to be completed by a team of 2 or more volunteers in a single day (ideally 4–6 hours).

Sign up your workplace team, church group, civic club, or register yourself as an individual volunteer! You will need to provide your contact information and your estimated group size so we can match your team with a great community project.

Event Day Schedule: Friday, August 21, 2026

8 AM | Volunteer Check-In & Annual Campaign Kick-Off Arrive at Bellefontaine Grace Church to check in, grab your Care Day t-shirt, and join us as we officially kick off our 2026 United Way Campaign!

9 AM | Disperse to Project Sites Teams head out to their designated project site to begin their pre-coordinated projects. Projects will take between 4 to 6 hours to complete.

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM | Project Wrap-Up Final clean-up, finishing touches on your group projects, and a chance to take team photos to capture the memories made making a difference together!
