Provides disaster relief to Logan County families to rebuild their lives after a fire, flood, or storm.  Keeps families stable after a disaster by providing basic and needs and coordinating other community support.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $6,861


Boy Scouts of America - Tecumseh Council

Traditional scouting opportunities for Logan County youth to participate in educational programs that promote character development, citizenship, fitness, and leadership skills.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $6,208


Community Action Organization - VITA Tax Preparation

Free income tax preparation for income-eligible residents to help maximize their returns.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $7,000

Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio - Second Harvest Food Bank

Provides support to 11 food pantries throughout Logan County, including mobile pantries.  Click here for listing of locations, hours, and contact information.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $35,000


Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio - Helping Hands

Homeless prevention and help with rent and utilities.   2017 ALLOCATION:  $70,000

Consolidated Care

Helps mentally disabled individuals with basic needs such as food, medication, clothing, emergency housing, and utilities.  Suicide Prevention.  Depression screening in area schools.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $12,868


Consolidated Care - New Directions / Soteria House Domestic Violence Shelter

Domestic violence shelter, counseling, and advocacy for raped and battered persons and prevention programs for area church groups, schools, organizations and agencies.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $11,467


Discovery Riders

Therapeutic riding and learning center for children with special, emotional or physical learning  challenges or disabilities.  Uses horses to promote learning, independence, empowerment and quality of life.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $22,913

Girl Scouts of Western Ohio

Traditional scouting that provides life skills for girls, engaging them in girl-led activities, cooperative learning, and experiences. 2017 ALLOCATION:  $10,000  


Green Hills Community

DayBreak Center, providing adult daycare providing planned activities in a supervised environment for older adults who reside in Logan County.  Clients are cognitively impaired, physically frail or require hands on assistance with their activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, toileting and mobility.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $20,000


Habitat for Humanity of Logan County

Builds homes in partnership with low and moderate income families and individuals at cost with no profit through a no-interest mortgage.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $20,000

International Friendship Center

Supports the Suzuka - Logan County citizen exchange program.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $5,520

LifeCare Alliance

Meals-on-wheels deliveries to homebound residents and lunches at senior citizen dining centers in Logan County.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $15,000


Lighthouse Emergency Shelter

Short-term, 24/7 emergency homeless shelter, with families receiving priority status.  Occupants are required to seek assistance from local social service agencies and adhere to rules and regulations for shelter residence.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $20,000


Logan County Cancer Society

Financial assistance for Logan County cancer patients to cover expenses toward medication, transportation, equipment, supplies, and wigs.  Open to any Logan County resident with cancer or cancer-related illnesses.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $32,265


Logan County Children & Family First Council

Identifies and serves high-risk families through strength-based, family-centered and individualized system of care.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $15,000         


Logan County Neighborhood Outreach - Summer Food Program

Free meals for children attending these neighborhood drop-in centers.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $4,500   


Lutheran Community Services - Our Daily Bread

A daily, free, hot, nutritious meal served five days a week to adults and children in need.  2017 ALLOCATION:  35,000


Mary Rutan Medication Assistance Program

Midwest Regional Educational Service Center

United Way dollars provide tutors for K-12 students taking online courses in the Virtual Learning Academy.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $6,000


Recovery Zone

Consumer operated center with peer support, group activities, and more for those recovering from mental health and addiction.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $15,000

Transportation Logan County

United Way funding provides free rides for seniors to appointments, shopping, errands, and more.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $25,000


Union Station

United Way funding supports the Community Summer Program, a seven-week day camp for kids to increase health knowledge and impact social behavior.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $5,000

United Service Organization of Central & Southern Ohio

Enhances the quality of life of the United States Armed Forces personnel and families worldwide and to create a cooperative relationship between United States Military communities and involved or supporting civilian communities.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $3,044


Universal Home Health & Hospice - Caring Hearts

Hospice care to terminally ill patients who do not have the ability to pay for care and services.  Bereavement services to hospice families and community members who have lost loved ones.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $40,000   


Warm Clothes for Kids

A 100% volunteer program supporting the clothing needs of Logan County children in kindergarten through 8th grade.  2017 ALLOCATION:  $35,000
