What is the true cost of poverty in Logan County? Consider that 10 percent of Logan County families live in poverty. An additional 25 percent are employed, earning more than Federal Poverty guidelines, but less than the basic cost of living. One in three Logan County residents do not make ends meet.
Join us for an unforgettable, interactive session as we to put on Think Tank, Inc.’s “Cost of Poverty Experience.” Volunteers are still very actively participate in the Simulation, just in a different way. We just need you at 8:15 a.m. (45 minutes before the event begins at 9:00 a.m.) so you show you how you will help us stage the event. As a volunteer, you'll feel what it's like to serve those living in poverty and understand the strains it puts on all of us in Logan County.
