Run a Workplace Campaign

Since 1955, local businesses have chosen United Way as THE way to make their philanthropic impact in Logan County.  Giving via payroll deduction at work is the most common way people give to United Way.  See how easy it is to conduct a United Way campaign that will empower your team to give back and build camaraderie in the workplace.

LifeCare Alliance Volunteers Key Meals on Wheels Program

Thanks in part to YOUR United Way gift no Logan County senior citizen has ever paid to have LifeCare Alliance Meals-on-Wheels delivered. But LifeCare Alliance is having trouble keeping up. A 40 percent increase in clients over the last year means they need more volunteers, and more financial help. A $15,000 Community Impact Fund grant over the summer will help bridge some of that gap. And at $55,000 in support for 2021, LifeCare Alliance is now our top-funded agency.

2021 Campaign Kicks Off

An 8:00 a.m. breakfast Friday at the Logan County Fairgrounds on August 27 doubled to serve as both the kickoff to United Way's 68th Annual Campaign and the launch of the organization's Community Care Day corporate volunteer event.  From there, United Way hopes to raise $1 million by the end of the year.  And 270 volunteers from more than three dozen workplaces and groups worked to complete pre-coordinated service projects throughout the county by the end of the day.
