2023 Community Needs Assessment Released

Call to Action Meeting

Since 2012, United Way has combined with local partners to conduct a Community Needs Assessment every three years to identify gaps in the health and human service network in Logan County.  This detailed, 160-page report combines input from a survey of community members, interviews with key leaders, discussions with focus groups, and secondary data to create a comprehensive snapshot of what's good and not so good about our County.  From there, working coalitions of government, non-profit, and corporate partners address the top issues.

We use the Needs Assessment to identify funding priorities to allocate donor dollars every year.  Other agencies use the data collected when applying for grants to help solve problems.

The results of the 2023 Needs Assessment were released during a meeting at the Logan County Department of Job & Family Services on June 27.
