Another Goal Surpassed

This week, we signed up our 1,200 Logan County preschooler in the new Dolly Parton Imagination Library.  That was the original goal of our coalition that came together last year to help launch this early childhood literacy program in our community.  We did it in just five months, a full year faster than the national average!

But thanks to your incredible support, we’re not stopping here.  Last month, the United Way Board authorized expanding enrollment by 50%.  So we can now enroll another 600 Logan County children to include 70% of the children under age five in our community.

Participants receive a FREE BOOK every month until their fifth birthday to help increase early childhood literacy, kindergarten readiness, and parent-child interaction.

You can enroll a child in your life for free at www.uwlogan.org or at any Logan County library, the Logan County Health District, and Mary Rutan Hospital.
