2020 Allocations Information

2020 United Way Funded Agency Allocations Application

United Way of Logan County is extending the opportunity for local agencies to apply for status as a United Way Funded Agency and to receive allocations in 2020.
Programs to receive United Way funding should further our mission to support the health, education, and financial stability of every person in Logan County.  Funding priority will be given to programs that align with United Way's Strategic Plan and the 2018 Community Needs Assessment.  Areas of emphasis include programs that:
  • Reduce the negative impact of substance abuse in Logan County
  • Reduce poverty and increase self-sufficiency and financial wellness
  • Provide long-term, coordinated help for people with rent, utilities, and housing
  • Strengthen and stabilize the local workforce
  • Address mental health
  • Keep children safe and healthy
  • Serve the aging population
  • Promote healthy living
  • Provide access to Resources
All documentation must be submitted online by WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 9 at 11:59 p.m.
The online application eliminates the need to turn in physical copies of your forms to our office.  It also eliminates the need to complete the old budget forms, and instead allows you to upload existing financial documents from your organization.
Remember that United Way support is to cover cost of programming, and cannot be sought for management, general, or fundraising functions.
All organizations receiving United Way 2020 Allocations will agree to abide by the "Agreement with Funded Agencies," found on page 5 of our Code of Regulations.  All agencies that receive $25,000 or more in United Way funding are required to a completed Post-Project Report each quarter BEFORE receiving their next payment from United Way.  All agencies receiving less than $25,000 are asked to submit the form bi-annually BEFORE receiving their next payment.
  • Wednesday September 11 - Optional Training / Q&A Session about the United Way Application Process - 10:00 a.m. at the United Way office.
  • Wednesday October 9 - DEADLINE to submit the online application
  • Wednesday November 6 - AGENCY HEARING DAY.  All agencies submitting an application will be invited to make an appointment to present to the Allocations Committee about your funding request.

  • Monday December 2 - All agencies will be notified of the 2020 funding decisions.
